Marketplace role

Selenite Market provides marketplace, storefront, discovery, account, and checkout tools for independent artists and buyers.

Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, the artist offering the work is the seller and merchant of record for that purchase. Payments are processed through the seller's connected Stripe account.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for information submitted through it. Do not use another person's account or impersonate another person or business.

Listings and purchases

Artists are responsible for accurately describing their work, pricing, availability, condition, shipping terms, and other listing details. Buyers should review the listing and the artist's policies before purchasing or bidding.

A completed checkout may create a binding purchase between the buyer and the independent seller, subject to applicable law and the seller's published policies.

Auctions

Bids are intended to be genuine purchase commitments. Sellers may not manipulate bidding on their own listings. Auction timing may extend near the scheduled ending time when anti-sniping protection is enabled.

When an auction ends with an eligible winning bidder, that bidder may be required to complete payment within the payment window shown by Selenite Market.

Shipping, returns, and disputes

Shipping, return, cancellation, and fulfillment terms may vary by artist. Those artist-specific policies are part of the information a buyer should review before purchasing.

Selenite Market may provide communication and order tools, but artists remain responsible for fulfilling their sales. Payment disputes may also be handled through the payment processor and applicable card-network procedures.

Seller fees

Seller pricing and plan terms are shown during seller onboarding and on the Sell With Us pages. Payment-processing fees charged by Stripe may apply separately.

Prohibited use

Do not use Selenite Market for unlawful activity, fraud, infringement, harassment, deceptive listings, payment abuse, malicious software, or attempts to interfere with the operation or security of the service.

Features and these terms may change as Selenite Market develops. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
